Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N), known for their powerful 'maramat' style, have made a comeback with their mini album "ATE." This new release showcases a refined yet bold ambition to conquer the global music market. Their signature intense flavor is now complemented by a softer, more accessible touch, which they have dubbed the 'Rosemara Flavor.'
At a recent press conference in Seoul, the group discussed their latest title track, "Chk Chk Boom." This song blends an addictive loop on a Latin-style hip-hop rhythm with a unique top line and bold lyrics, aiming to dominate the summer pop scene.
The members also revealed that they have all renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment, underscoring their unity and the support from their fans, known as Stay. Leader Bang Chan expressed gratitude, saying, "We are able to be together again thanks to Stay and the company family who have always supported us."
Stray Kids have been busy performing at major festivals worldwide, and they continue to be amazed by the global love for their music. Changbin noted, "Seeing people around the world sing our songs in Korean is incredible. We believe our unique music and constant innovation are key to our popularity."
The album "ATE" includes eight tracks, all produced by the group's team, 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han). Felix also contributed lyrics to the song "Runners," adding to the group's distinctive musical style. This album aims to showcase a different side of Stray Kids, with a focus on a latent yet engaging charm.
The title track, "Chk Chk Boom," features playful lyrics about feeling full yet still hungry for success and love from their fans. The music video has garnered significant attention due to surprise appearances by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, further highlighting the group's international appeal.
Stray Kids will soon embark on their largest world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>," starting in Seoul and spanning multiple countries. Their goal is to expand their reach and connect with fans worldwide, continuing their journey beyond their seventh year as a group.
The members view Stray Kids as a family, reflecting on their shared experiences and future together. Felix described the group as his family, while Seungmin and Changbin emphasized that Stray Kids represent their youth and eternity.
With the release of "ATE" and the title track "Chk Chk Boom," Stray Kids are poised to dominate the global music scene, driven by their loyal fans and relentless ambition.
