After 16 years, Britpop legends Oasis are set to return to South Korea as part of their world tour "Oasis Live 25" in 2025. Seoul will be one of only two stops in Asia, drawing excitement from both longtime fans and K-pop artists who have expressed their admiration for the band.
Several K-pop idols have publicly shared their love for Oasis. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon mentioned how Oasis influenced his music, while BTS’s V has been seen enjoying their classic hit “Don't Look Back in Anger ” during live streams.
Stray Kids’ Hyunjin even revealed in a W Korea interview that he listens to Oasis while showering.
Additionally, BTS’s Jung Kook covered Oasis' "Let There Be Love" during his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance, showcasing how the band's timeless music resonates with global artists across generations.
Oasis last performed in Korea in 2009, with Noel Gallagher praising the local crowd as the best of their tour. The upcoming concert is highly anticipated, and more details regarding dates and ticket sales are expected soon.
