Seoul, September 26 – Antenna's highly anticipated rookie boy band "Dragon Pony" took the stage at Yes24 Wonderlock Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, for the debut showcase of their first EP, POP UP. The group, consisting of An Taegyu (vocalist), Pyun Sunghyun (bassist), Kwon Sehyuk (guitarist), and Ko Ganghun (drummer), brought their raw energy and rebellious spirit to the forefront with a performance that was both electrifying and emotionally charged.
The title track POP UP serves as the centerpiece of their debut, a song that encapsulates the struggles and passionate cries of young men who find themselves unable to fit into the mold of ordinary life. Through its rebellious lyrics and bold sound, POP UP tells the story of Dragon Pony's defiance against societal expectations, embodying their autobiographical message: they refuse to walk a straight, predetermined path.
In their performance, Dragon Pony proved that they are not just another rookie band but a force to be reckoned with. Their music reflects their own experiences as imperfect boys standing against the pressures of conforming, creating a distinct identity that resonates with a new generation of listeners.
Speaking at the event, Go Kang-hoon shared, "This debut is deeply personal for us. POP UP is about breaking free from societal norms and expressing our true selves. We hope people can relate to our message and find their own voice in our music."
With their unique sound and meaningful narrative, Dragon Pony has already captured the attention of both fans and critics alike. Their debut showcases not just a boy band but artists unafraid to challenge the status quo and share their authentic stories through music. POP UP promises to leave a lasting impression as Dragon Pony steps confidently into the spotlight.
