K-pop artists HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung officially tied the knot on October 11 in a low-key ceremony after dating for nine months. The wedding took place at Samcheonggak in Seoul, a quiet venue chosen for its scenic views and secluded atmosphere.
The event, held in the late afternoon, was attended by close family members and a small circle of acquaintances. The couple kept the affair relatively simple, opting for an intimate ceremony without a congratulatory song or officiant. Yong Jun-hyung arrived first, dressed in a white tuxedo jacket, while HyunA, wearing a mini dress paired with red shoes, walked down the aisle with her father as guests looked on.
Despite the couple’s high-profile status, the wedding was a restrained and modest event. Several figures from the entertainment industry attended, including Jo Kwon, who surprised many by posting a congratulatory message despite past rumors suggesting he had cut ties with HyunA. Jo Kwon, who has known HyunA since their trainee days at JYP Entertainment, shared a photo from the wedding and a short message reflecting on their longstanding acquaintance.
Other notable attendees included producers from HyunA’s agency, At Area, as well as labelmates Mirani and Gemini, who shared glimpses of the couple on social media. However, beyond these celebrity appearances, the ceremony remained a private affair.
HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung’s relationship has not been free from public scrutiny. After announcing their marriage earlier this year, they faced several rumors, including speculation around pregnancy and other personal matters. Both artists’ agencies were quick to dismiss these claims, even threatening legal action against the spread of false information.
The couple, while respected for their individual achievements in K-pop, has often faced mixed reactions from the public. HyunA, who debuted as part of Wonder Girls before joining 4Minute and eventually going solo, has consistently remained in the spotlight, while Yong Jun-hyung, a former member of Highlight (formerly BEAST), has focused on solo work in recent years.
As they embark on their next chapter together, HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung are likely to continue drawing attention, for better or worse, from both fans and critics alike.
