According to The New Yorker's latest article, Jung Kook's hit song "Seven" was originally written for Justin Bieber! Featured on his debut album Golden, this track marks the first entirely English-language release by a BTS member. Scooter Braun, C.E.O. of HYBE USA, urged Jung Kook to adopt a bold persona, likening it to Justin Timberlake's solo career when he said, “When Justin Timberlake did a solo record without ’NSync, he leaned in with edge.” Golden also features collaborations with Jack Harlow and Usher, who joined Jung Kook on a remix of “Standing Next to You.” Braun even invited him to perform at the Super Bowl, showcasing Jung Kook's rise as a U.S. pop star!
