IU, Jungkook, DAY6, and aespa Among Top 10 Honorees at 2024 Melon Music Awards

The Melon Music Awards (MMA) has announced its "Top 10" artists for 2024, celebrating some of the most influential names in Korean music this year. This year’s honorees include solo icons IU and BTS’s Jungkook, popular band DAY6, and trendsetting girl group aespa, among others who have captivated fans and led the charts.

The MMA Top 10 lineup, chosen through a mix of music chart performance (80%) and fan voting (20%), includes:

The 2024 Melon Music Awards will take place on November 30 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, and will be globally live-streamed on Melon’s app, website, and YouTube channel. In addition to honoring the Top 10, MMA2024 will announce winners for categories like Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Solo, and Best Group, with fan voting for these categories already underway.

Nominees for Artist of the Year include IU, aespa, (G)I-DLE, and DAY6, while Album of the Year contenders feature aespa’s Armageddon, (G)I-DLE’s 2, and Jungkook’s Golden. With a thrilling lineup and fan engagement, MMA2024 is set to celebrate the artists and music that have defined this year in K-pop.
