K-pop sensation Illit is set to make their Japanese debut with the release of their first original Japanese digital single, titled "Almond Chocolate". The track is scheduled to drop on February 14, 2025, at 0:00 JST, coinciding with Valentine's Day.
"Almond Chocolate" will serve as the theme song for the upcoming Japanese live-action film "It Takes More Than a Pretty Face to Fall in Love" (Kao dake ja Suki ni Narimasen), set to premiere nationwide on March 7, 2025.
The song was crafted specifically for the film by renowned producer Nakajin of SEKAI NO OWARI, in collaboration with Pdogg, a music producer known for his work with BTS. This collaboration has resulted in a light, pop song with sweet lyrics, expressing passionate feelings and love for one's idol.
Fans can look forward to "Almond Chocolate" as a delightful addition to their Valentine's Day celebrations, marking a significant milestone in Illit's musical journey.
