Welcome to the world of Illit! 🌟 This amazing South Korean girl group, formed by Belift Lab (a Hybe sub-label), rose to fame through the thrilling JTBC survival show R U Next?. Debuting on March 25, 2024, with their electrifying EP Super Real Me, they consist of five talented members: Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha.

Name

Illit's name was revealed during the exciting finale of R U Next?! The name embodies the spirit of choosing your own path, allowing each member to express their individuality and creativity.

Career Highlights

2023–2024: Pre-debut Journey

In a nail-biting series of ten episodes, 22 contestants fought for a chance to debut in this stellar group. The final lineup was chosen, and even though Youngseo left in January 2024, the excitement continued to build!

2024–Present: Debut and Beyond

Illit officially kicked off their journey with Super Real Me, which features the catchy lead single "Magnetic." They made waves by entering U.S. Billboard charts and becoming the first K-pop group to enter the UK Official Singles chart with their debut! Talk about a phenomenal start!

Endorsements

Illit is also turning heads in the fashion and beauty world! They became the new faces of Acne Studios and have collaborated with brands like Pocari Sweat, KT Y, Bioderma, and Crocs. Get ready to see them shine everywhere!

Controversy

Even with their rising fame, Illit faced some challenges, including a plagiarism accusation in April 2024, which their management strongly refuted. The journey isn’t always easy, but they’re pushing through!
